An evening with the Wellingborough Community Gospel Choir
Enjoy a huge array of different genres and songs, from huge pop and soul anthems to classical chorales, as well as gospel music, in a beautiful medieval church.
About the choir
The choir’s foremost passion is gospel music, but its repertoire includes music from a range of genres. Under the enthusiastic leadership of Gareth Fuller, the music director, the choir rise to the challenges Gareth sets and consistently achieves a high standard of choral singing. As well as performing in venues across Northamptonshire such as The Royal & Derngate Theatre, the choir also performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival last year.
The community aspect of their work is important. The choir sings with different groups such as people suffering from dementia, and in support of local charities.
Anyone can join the choir. No auditions are held because musical experience is not necessary. All that is required is a willingness to embrace the music, work diligently, welcome the challenges and be part of a fun-loving group of people who enjoy being together.

Bede House.
Since our foundation in 2013 we have completed two major projects:
the restoration of the World War One Memorial and creation of a Memorial Garden
